When I first started taking a lot of photos, I did all sorts of things to “edit” out the power lines
I realized that was actually how I was living my life – going through through all sorts of machinations to avoid seeing what was really there.
That’s exactly how denial works.
We are actively working to NOT see what is really there.
A shit-ton of the lessons in my life have been about learning to embrace what is really here instead of believing in illusions.
You may see the power lines as an ugly interference.
Me? I prefer to think of them differently.
They bring us something important.
And it’s all part of the beautiful mess.
Cheers to the evening sky (power lines and all).
